What is FIX THE WORLD?
Founded in 1983 by Jeremy Griffith, FIX THE WORLD is a global, registered not-for-profit organisation dedicated to understanding and ameliorating the human condition — our species’ seemingly contradictory capacity for both ‘good and evil’. In particular, FIX THE WORLD recognises Jeremy’s breakthrough biological treatise on the human condition, which maintains that understanding what caused our angry, egocentric and alienated behaviour — namely the conflict between our original instincts and our acquired conscious intellect — is the key to rehabilitating and transforming the human race.
Jeremy’s work is profoundly multi-disciplinary, drawing from the physical sciences, biology, anthropology and primatology, as well as philosophy, psychology and psychiatry. And has generated interest and acclaim from some of the most eminent scientists, writers and thinkers of their respective fields. New Ideas are Initially Resisted
It is important to note that by definition all new ideas threaten the status quo and are therefore typically resisted. And no new idea is as revolutionising and thus threatening of the status quo as analysis and explanation of the human condition. This is because the prevailing attitude has been to cope with the until now unexplained and thus unbearably depressing issue of our species’ seemingly horribly flawed, even ‘corrupted’ or ‘fallen’, ‘good and evil’-stricken human condition by living in almost complete denial of it.
